I’m Pleased

I don’t know about you, but I’m extremley thrilled with the Hunger Games movie.

Not only did it keep to the book, but it kept the books plot and meanings. Following directly in line with the book, keeping true to the points of rebellion and the meaning of the hunger game sin Panem and symbolism and rebellion that the story is actually about.

I especially liked the addition of President’s Snows scenes and the game makers scenes while they were all in the arena. It gave it a great new perspective and made it a very very well done movie.

Being a music major, the score to the movie was phenomenal, going to the store on Monday to buy my CD. (ahh, can’t wait)

I know for a fact the people behind me in the theater were disappointed with the movie. All of them wearing Team Peeta shirts, kicking our seats and oozing over Josh Hutcherson (not going to lie, I did too) but I’m not in love with the series for the underlying plot of a love story. Its defiantly a very good part of the book and is much needed, but if you were there to watch Katniss fall in love with Peeta, your in the wrong place. Sorry kicking seat girls behind me, this isn’t Twilight, its not a love story, its much much much more then that, much much.

I’m happy to say that I thought the movie was phenomenal and cannot wait to see it again. I cried, I screamed, I laughed and I enjoyed the movie as much as I did the books. Congratulation on job well done.

Things I love.

Laughing till I pee my pants.
